I am a 22 year old girl with a huge appetite for life. I've dabbled into many forms of art, but nothing leaves me with a sense of amazement than photography. I started out taking fashion and conceptual photographs. I loved how I could see my dreams in front of me, as if the whole world was a blank canvass and I was painting with light. I was always hungry for more.

I was never satisfied with my work, I realized I don't want to just take pretty photos. I was more than that. I want to tell stories. I want to shackle someone else's beliefs, make them question, make them dream, make them puzzled, make them wonder. This is the start of my journey to photojournalism.

I haven't gone to countries far and beyond as I may have dreamed, but the Philippines is a journey in itself. Too often I have skimmed through magazines, fantasizing about the day I will be out there in the open, backpack full of ambition, heart heaving with passion.

I may be crazy to believe that I am destined for something great. But I think it is a great sadness when people stop dreaming. Outside my comfort zone and into the great beyond, I hope to inspire and be inspired. And I think that's a good kind of crazy.
