My Scholarship entry - The People of Gambia

I am ambitious and passionate photographer, young in age (however massively determined) and looking for opportunities in which I can express my passion for travel documentary Photography. I love meeting new people from different cultures and lifestyles, learning more about these heritages and places through photographing them. Being a naturally social person I feel I am able to make intimate relationships with new people, so there is a sense of ease and comfort whilst I photograph them in their surroundings - this gives my photos a personal touch that may not be present in others. I am always inspired by nature and what it brings visually to the world, so being able to photograph in the Peruvian Amazon would be an absolute privilege.
