Hello,
my name is Izabela. I am a student of linguistics and I do photography in my free time. I love photography because every picture is different. Nothing is repeatable and nor are photographs. They show unique moments and emotions. That’s what I want to capture in every shot. I am self-taught photographer. I’ve read manuals, magazines and online advices on how to photograph. But actually the best way to learn it is to take a camera and shoot. I want to be better at it and I’d love photography to be my profession in the future. When I show my images to other people they usually say ‘they're great!’, however, sometimes it seems to me like there aren't many people who care about what I do. I’ve never been to any workshop, I haven’t got a chance to meet anyone who does the real photography professionally. Meeting somebody who knows the profession and having an opportunity to such an adventure like the scholarship in Greenland would be a great change for me. It would give me confidence to make the next step in photography and to believe that I am good enough to do it.
