My Scholarship entry - Heiva in Tahiti
French Polynesia | Friday, November 21, 2014 | 5 photos
Photography became part of my everyday life after I left my country and started my journey. I have been on my way since 2009 and I have never got bored or have slowed down in capturing moments.
I am interested in capturing feelings hiding in the details that escape the attention of most people. The human story excites me the most. Particularly the story of those pushed to the margin of society, maybe because I grew up as a member of a minority community. My vision is to expose hidden values through images as a professional photographer. The greatest honor is when my photos make someone stop and think for a moment or when someone expresses gratitude for having been able to share my travels through my pictures.
On my way I often face questions to which I think I could find the answers in the company of a professional photographer. Just like in the old days, in a master and disciple relationship. Also, The World Nomads Scholarship provides a chance to get involved with the community of professional photographers.
I love hiking in the mountains, diving in the ocean. And of course when discovering the wonders of hidden corners of our world, I never leave my camera home.
