Sungasui felt thirsty after carrying loads of firewood on his backs. The water was fresh from the unpolluted river of Papar, in Sabah, Borneo. A river which will be affected by the proposed Kaiduan Dam. If built will displace 1400 of indigenous Dusun from the ancestral land.

This is one true great photo. So much depth in the story. Love the composition. Best of luck in the competition, and this definitely deserves attention from the judges :)
