Hi
I am Th?y, an enthusiastic Vietnamese photographer. I guess how I started with photography is a bit different from others. I fell in love with filmmaking at first sight, at that time, I didn’t have any basic knowledge of photography like composition, light, angles...Then I bought my first camera about 10 months ago to learn more about photography and filmming techniques as well. It is a DSLR, so I can use it for shooting my independent documentary projects, too. At the moment, I am doing the job as a teaching assistant and but I want to work as an independent documentary filmmaker in the future and just concentrate on it, so there are plenty of things about photography, filmming techniques and storytelling I need to learn at the moment.

As always curious about this great big world, I dream of travelling to a place like Amazone forest many years ago, hope this time I have a chance. I think conducting the photography assignment is a great way to help me to go further with storytelling which can be very helpful for my future career as a documentary filmmaker.
