My Scholarship entry - Left Behind in Bosnia
As a Turkish woman, I come from a society where there are scarce opportunities to work for a social cause. Throughout my education, I tried to work through the barriers to create social impact, and created two organizations - KUGlobalAid and the Association for Collective Empowerment. (collectiveempowerment.com). I do photography as I am implementing social projects, and my photographs always relate to the communities that I work with.
