Natural Power There is nothing more powerful then lightning and this concept is the reason behind me storm chasing all over Victoria. I have seen lightning strike only meters from where I’m standing and for some reason makes me feel indestructible in some ways. I find it not as an adrenalin rush but more of a source to my individual need to absorb energy the world offers to keep me on my toes. This image shows how to capture a moment in time that projected so much power with such little subject

Reach for the Sky

There are many ways to perceive this image from the nature that surrounded me to the ideas of reaching for something no matter how far away it seemed. I found myself laying down looking up at the top of the canopy thinking about how far I have come since my accident but how far I still have to go to get where I want to be. The bark on the trees and spikes don’t make it easy but like life there is no easy way to get where you’re going. The climb to the top wouldn’t be easy bu

Lost Souls
Overlooking the ocean and a once amazing pier. The water matching the sky at sunrise gave such a surreal feeling as the posts disappeared into the distance. Posts sticking up out of the water once with such purpose now lost maybe confused but no matter how many years have past since they still stand strong as though to us they don’t have a purpose there are creatures unseen under the water that still depend on these lost souls for their survival
