My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I´m Eduardo, 26 years old, southern Chilean and Aquaculture Engineer.
Born and raised in a farm I have always been close to nature and it´s magic. Since I was I kid I´ve been trying to capture that magic, to keep it and share it with my friends in the city, to show them a picture of where I live. And since 2005 I have been getting more serious about photography year after year. Now, two years after finishing my career I´m at a Crossroads, should I work at the topic I studied? Or should I follow my heart into photography and try to make a living out of it. I love the mountains, the light it produces, the bond you make with your fellow climbers and the unpredictable weather, and above all, to bring back your memories in digital and put them forever in a wall for everyone to contemplate and take the chance, the risk to visit these beautiful and remote places.
I have a motto, don´t know if read it somewhere or just came to my mind, “to take extraordinary pictures you have to take your camera to extraordinary places”, take the risk, get wet, get cold, get close and the results will speak for themselves.
I hope you like what I do.
