My Scholarship entry - My version, captured through ambition, intuition &emotion

I call myself 'Another travelling other' for the simple reason of being part of the vast majority of those who wish to fulfil the one basic desire of all humans (whether subconsciously knowing about it or not), exploration. The first time I met another person in a country other than the United Kingdom, my outlook was changed for good. The aesthetic differences were obvious, but it was the mannerisms, lifestyle, food, landscape and humour that intrigued me the most. This lead my to see nothing more worthy for my hard earned money than a plane ticket; to truly find out how inspired and speechless this world can make me. To widen my understanding would only have a beneficial effect on everything I was to teach others, and to experience these moments timelessly using one of our greatest achievements, the camera! My love for this technology is endless, and I continually search for improvement daily. From growing up watching Sir David Attenborough and others, it has been the camera techniques and animals that have always left me eager. After undertaking a BSc(Psychology), I know that my future lies with conservation and teaching through the lens.
