I AM a creative artist and amateur photographer who has recently stepped beyond the boundaries of fear. After working in a claustrophobic office for four years I told myself the world was much bigger than the four walls I felt confined to every working day. One day I woke up and looked fear in the eye, as much I felt intimidated by the thoughts of losing my regular income, I knew my dream to travel and photograph the world meant so much more to me. So, I took a 3 week vacation to Barbados and on my return I handed in my resignation. Since then I have been travelling around Indonesia and South East Asia on my life savings. I would love to be chosen for this assignment because I have a strong passion for life, for human interest and sharing real life stories through my photography. I am an observer of people. I can sit and watch the world pass me by for hours. From this I extract my inspiration. I like to capture the magical moments others may fail to see. Through my creative imagination and my photography I have found a way to piece together the fragments of life in order to build a bridge for others to cross, so they too can glimpse the vastness and beauty of our unified world.
