My Scholarship entry - Dan James Photography
Hi, I am a 20 year old photographer that has been taking photos for 2 years now, everything I know about photography is self-taught, as a lover of landscapes and wildlife photography I find myself seeking for bigger and better adventures, I feel my ability is of a very high standard and I'm just missing some guidance, to have the opportunity to travel somewhere like the Amazon with a professional photographer would literally be a dream come true. I invest lots of time and money into my business as a photographer, which I very much enjoy, but my true passion is wildlife photography.
For me I enjoy taking photographs because its a moment to share, the rush I experience when I'm capturing something I know I will show others is very exciting, nothing beats it. The joy of seeing different lights in the sky and different locations in something I absolutely love but unfortunately have not experienced outside of the UK. My life ambition is one day to travel the world finding the most incredible locations, whilst trying to make the most of my local scenery I am so envious of the likes of Australian photographer William Patino and Patrick Gilbert's adventures in Africa.
