I am a hobbyist photographer trying to work towards being professional so I can do what I love as a way of life and immerse myself in my art. Photography to me is a way to freeze a fleeting moment that might be missed by most eyes, to show something to be beautiful that otherwise might appear mundane. I have a passion for creating happiness in simplicity.

I would like to develop my own unique style of what I see through the lens, not based on comparison to other photographers or current trends, but what calls to me and to be confident in my work and not feel the need to follow those trends, but at the same time learn from photographer's I look up to.

I want to capture magic and beauty in the every day whether a simple daily task or a big celebration for others to see something special they may have missed.

A dream of mine is to visit as many places as I can to capture the real world, not just my little corner. To show how life really is in this big planet and open people's eyes and my eyes to what we are sheltered from everyday. To show reality isn't just the few square miles we travel everyday or our celebrity reality shows. True life, real people.
