My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Have you ever thought to yourself #thisisnotwhatiwanttodowithmylife? This is a thought that has popped into my head a couple of times over the last years. The follow up question come naturally; what do I want to do with my life? For me the answer is #rockstar or #photographer. Being a very young minded 36 year old, the first option is out of the question. The remaining answer; #photographer.
I have been photographing since I was 12 when I got my first camera on a trip to Bastogne. For the past 3 years the bulk of my time outside of my work has been dedicated to photography. I'm an photography amateur in the true sense of the word; a lover of. Always trying to improve on my technique and my story telling ability.
Traveling and foreign cultures has been a passion for me since the day I left my native country, Sweden, at the early age of 12. Since then I have lived in numerous European countries and have visited every continent on earth for either pleasure or work. Switzerland is the country I currently call my home, I live here with my wife and daughter.
Some people call my photography style; street, some call it; documentary. I just call it my passion! I’m ready for the next step.
