Passport & Plate - Dennis' smoky shrimp


Ingredients
Shrimp
garlic
paprika
olive oil
bread (for dunking)

 

How to prepare this recipe
Simples really... marinade the uncooked shrimp in garlic, oil and paprika for a couple of hours.

Grill on a BBQ and sprinkle with fresh red chili before serving. Serve with chunks of bread for dunking into the oil.

 

The story behind this recipe
I met Denis in his mountain top restaurant in Antigua, I asked him what can I eat that will leave me wanting more... he gave me his secret shrimp recipe. They were deliciously meaty, cooked to perfection and that sauce! YUM I was certainly wanting more, so I ordered another portion. Perhaps it was the rum cocktail that washing it down or perhaps it was the unbelievable view but I've never eaten such great shrimp.
