A 'place' I have visited
Since I graduated from college, I have been holed up in a room, editing films and TV shows. The job is quite lucrative and I need it to support myself and a younger sibling who's in college. It was OK, until I encountered a viral video that asks this question: “What would you do if money didn't matter?" It hit me and I pondered on that question. This is the answer I came up with: travel, shoot, travel, shoot, travel, shoot... Oh how I love seeing places, experiencing different cultures and taking pictures!
What I love about taking pictures is that it drives me to look at things through a different angle - literally and figuratively - in search of something beautiful or something new or something different. And so it forces me to be always curious about things. It is also my way of expressing myself. I love telling stories. But as someone whose native language is not English, words often fail me. So what I cannot tell in written form, I express through my photos. Photography - it's a universal language.
