Gypsing around the world "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain." Vivian Greene

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Greece | Friday, July 5, 2013 | 5 photos

As a little girl I spent a lot of time watching the world on my atlas and wonder what it was like.
I'm grown up in a family that has always travelled a lot around the world, and for some time I could do nothing more than imagine those distant countries. Their pictures where my windows on the world, nourishment for my soul.
Since then I prefer to travel on the road, given that for me the most important part of a trip is to know local people, the real heart of a country. And also because the best parts of a trip are unexpected and never as they appear on first sight.

My second passion is photography. I try to capture the emotions I feel, but I still have to learn a lot. I try to improve every time I take out my camera for a shot.
It took me a while but I learned how important it is to have an own point of view, it doesn't matter if it is bottom-up or upside down. My camera allows me to express everything I want to communicate to others. I often try out new things and lately I came back to analogue cameras too. I use them as an exercise to take good pictures in one shot, but I still have to work a little on that.
