Having grown up in one of the most isolated cities in the world (Perth,WA) I have had the fortune to experience the pleasure of open space, the energy of nature and the Fresh Air that this brings into my life. This has shaped my passions and decisions in life.

I have surfed since a young age and this has developed my passion for a free and travelling lifestyle to get off the beaten track and find some of the most untouched places the world has to offer. I have travelled to remote Islands in Indonesia searching for waves and to the most interior mountains in the Rockies to search for untouched powder.

These pictures are from a recent trip to the Kimberley region in NW WA. Having travelled out of Australia many times we sometimes forget to appreciate what's on our door step. This trip opened my eyes to the beauty of Australia and how rich our culture is.

I only just recently picked up a camera 8 months ago but have always had a curious eye for photography. For me, photography is a way to capture and share my experiences and thoughts and engage my mind while travelling. This scholarship would allow me to share my experiences and learnings with more people in my life.
