    I would like to call this picture ' Generations' & the little girl on the left makes the picture for me. Her playful smile and shy expression against the wise and worldly expression of the men is a wonderful contrast. Issues around the girl child in India are serious and need a lot of attention - I hope the country realises very soon how precious their daughters are. Views[451] The blue city of Jodhpur in the evening light - In all those little by lanes I came across a young and spirited new generation - It looks like a vast sea of blue, but every little lane has its own story to tell. Views[439] These young boys will probably never remember me, but what I wouldn't give to be able to go back in 10 years and take a picture of them against this blue door. Their warmth & joie de vivre is there for all to see, and so is their resolve to make their dreams come true. Views[413] This little girl was probably already working to earn her living, no doubt supporting her parents. The sack full of used bottles and boxes was her mother's and while the girl waited for her to come back, I was lucky to capture her taking a break watching the world around her. Views[485] Captured in the by lanes, a young boy gazes out of his home above a barber-shop. The way the picture is a story of 2 halves struck me immediately. I also love the vibrant colours in the frame. Views[586]
