I have a huge passion for seeing the world which I have nurtured by travelling solo since the age of sixteen, I am now 24 and have visited 43 countries. My dream is to be a travel journalist and photographer; in pursuit of this goal my wanderlust has driven me to hit the road without even enough money for food or a place to stay. Consequently these trips have been exciting and eventful which prompted me to document them on my online travel journal bringthehorizon.com.

Since leaving university I became a French teacher as I felt this was a career which allowed me to work abroad, travel during the holidays and work on my photography projects. I still believe that a career as a travel journalist and photographer is possible and will continue to work hard to develop my skills in this area. I would appreciate every second of this journey and do my best to capture my passion for travelling and sense of awe of the jungle in my choice of scenery shots and portraits. I understand an opportunity to shadow Jason Edwards and gain practical experience working in the Amazon is the opportunity of a lifetime.
