To be honest I've never been very good at talking about my self. I think that's one of the reasons why I love photojournalism. I get to tell other peoples stories and show people rather then tell people about the world we live in. I never knew what I wanted to do with my life until seeing photos taken by James Nachtwey when I was in college. It inspired me to pursue photojournalism. Why should I be chosen? There are so many excellent photographers out there, many just as dedicated and indebted to photography as me. I don't suppose I'm too different from them, but I do know that I hope to be chosen so I can further refine my skills as a visual story teller. I've never been contempt with my work. I'm always striving to improve and I believe that will be a life long pursuit.
