My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

This possibility is like realization of my dreams. Traveling and photography are my greatest passions (first of all in the mountains and different wild places); I hitch-hiked in the Caucasus, Mongolia, Buryatia, Baikal, Ukrainian countryside and Europe. Working in National Geographic as a photographer is my biggest wish.
Both my BA major and current job have been connected with journalism. The subject of my articles is traveling, culture, history, and social life. As a Master, I specialized in ancient history and archeology. My field of interest in history is Indo-European (and not only) mythology. I take active part in contemporary literary life, my poems and novels are published in Ukrainian books and magazines.
During last few years I realized that words are not enough to express myself. Visual language attracts me more and more. I spend with camera all my free time, experimenting with photo and video. Unfortunately, there are no academic programs for photographer in my country. Now I’m trying to develop in all ways possible, I visit all workshops and seminars I can and plan the route of next trip to the land where I can feel the heart of the Earth again.
