Hi guys,

My name is Ben Sowry, and I'm a 24 year old budding photographer from the South Coast of NSW, Australia. I've been shooting for little over four years. My passion is light, every turn of my head I see light, shadows, texture and composition. I breathe the art of photography. I even dream about my camera, and getting that one shot. I am never happy with my work, and I always strive to better myself - whether it be from a technical aspect, or a personal one. I have had experience in travel photography, fashion, surf and lifestyle. I love them all, but can never settle on one thing. I believe that a true photographer shouldn't be categorised, because he/she never settles on one style. Being flexible, and loving the flexibility of your work will only improve that of the mechanical extension of yourself. Your camera.

I truly hope that this message is received by you guys, because even the thought of being considered for such a scholarship would be a feather in my cap.
