The time is now. The time to pursue a dream that has been mine since before I can even remember. A dream to capture nature in all its forms and to share its infinite beauty with others. I have always had an intense connection with nature and have dreamt to share my passion. I've spent the last few years searching for my true passion when it has always been inside me, like a fire burning deep inside my heart and soul. The idea of traveling to Greenland and being mentored by a National Geographic legend has ignited that fire once again. I have wanderlust, I yearn to explore our beautiful planet and to learn everything I can from those who have an abundant amount of knowledge to share. I believe that I too, will be able to share the knowledge that I will surely gain throughout this experience. I know with every fiber of my being, that I was put on this earth to do great things, and with extreme passion and perseverance I will achieve whatever it is that my divine being is meant for; including being selected for this scholarship. This opportunity has arrived at the perfect time in my life and I truly believe it's meant for me. "I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul."
