UP IN THE AIR: Boats dot Vlassof Cay in the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Cairns in the far north of Queensland during a scenic flight over the world's largest reef system. Snorkeling in the waters of the reef and taking in the view from the air gives a holistic appreciation of this world heritage site yet creates concern amid reports that tourism is also putting pressure on the reef aside from climate change and other human activities.
