Bowerbirds of the blue mountains

Bowerbirds are very closely related to birds of paradise. This female satin bowerbird is decorating around the outside of the bower with an arrangement of blue artifacts such as bottle tops, hairties, lego, drinking straws, pegs and a variety of plastic objects preparing to attract the male bowerbird.
