My Scholarship entry - Wanderlust

My name is Anam Gill and i am a journalist. I love to travel the world and immerse myself in the pleasures of writing,photography, painting and singing. As a media studies student i did have to study a course on photo journalism in which i got a slr to showcase my skills. Besides trying to get a good grade by the end of semester i found out that loved taking pictures and capturing memories and moments was something that gave me great joy! I still remember that those photography sessions weren't dull or boring rather a way for me to show my perspective on things revolving around us.

I do wish to get this opportunity as i love to travel and going to Peru is something that i always wanted. I always wanted to see Machu Pichu. Moreover taking pictures in Peru under the guidance of a mentor would be a dream come true. I think i have the ability to take good photos and this opportunity will add a new insight to my skill, enabling me to have a better understanding of photography while immersing myself in the beauty which nature has bestowed on us.
