    Just behind this sign you can see Gulshan-2, one of the nicest commercial areas in Bangladesh. If you go to Dhaka, be sure to pick up pearls and silk. A string of perfect pearls can cost you under $10 and is available anywhere. Views[671] Views[172] It was Ramadan, so iftar (or fast-breaking) deals were popular. This place supposedly had amazing goat. Views[202] On any day but Friday, this street is crammed with cars and rikshaws and motorcycles and pedestrians. In normal Dhaka traffic, driving one mile can take an hour. Views[230] The very colorful outer wall of a children's play park. As rumors went, drug dealers liked to set up camp inside the park.     One of the nicest neighborhoods in Dhaka, near the diplomatic zone. It was really humid that day, as per usual (around 98%), so my camera kept fogging up. Views[283] The sole rikshaw in a nicer Dhaka neighborhood. Views[217] All of these photos are from a Friday morning, holy day, so the streets are uncharacteristically empty. I'd just recovered from emergency surgery and was venturing out on my own for the first time. Views[137]
