My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I began taking pictures three years ago, when I bought my first semi-professional camera. I always believed that there was a different way of understanding photography, and of looking at the world that surrounds us. Photography has to do with one’s intimate perception of the world, and of the reality that surrounds us.
I’m from Argentina, and at this moment in my life I am traveling through Asia. I left my home 4 months ago, and I do not know when I will be heading home, as I still have to much to learn in Asia.
I do not have any academic training in photography. Although sometimes I am satisfied with my results, and I have improved my skills since I started, I can notice that there are many weak points that would be very difficult or almost impossible to improve just by myself.
The possibility of being able to learn from a Nat Geo Veteran like Jason Edwards in a trip to Greenland, joining two of my biggest passions (traveling and photography) in such a professional context, would be an amazing opportunity for me. This opportunity would allow for me to grow as a photographer and would give me a framework to use my passion to make changes in the world around me.
