Street Life

Vietnam | Tuesday, August 17, 2010 | 5 photos

Walking the path of locals and experiencing first hand the street life of any country, including your own, is always dynamic and ever changing. Seasons, festivals and different times of day reveal many aspects of peoples' lives and customs.
Vietnam is one of these places. The people, their food and their daily rituals heighten the senses.
Immersing yourself in the busy times of daily life as well as the moments of stillness, can be a rewarding and life changing experience.
The people of Vietnam are resilient, passionate, respectful and astute in all facets of their daily lives. The images chosen convey these characteristics. Personally I believe in these moral standings and pursue them both professionally as well as when visiting new lands. I have followed my passion for photography through travel and I constantly pursue capturing that moment of street life.
Street life is never the same from day to day, hour to hour. What continues to drive my passion is the ability to capture an image from life that can stand the test of time.
To reveal a window in time from a new land, through my lens, is what continues to inspire me each and every time.
