I'm Aileen Camille B. Dimatatac or AC for short, a freelance photojournalist who works on documentaries (environment and social issues), news events, travel and portraits. I've been shooting since 2008 and started professionally last 2012. I think that the knowledge and experience that I will gain in this course will help me become a better and more credible photographer so that I can produce more inspiring and moving photos for the public. In my line of work information is very vital, in order for the people to be more convince that there is an immediate action needed in a certain issue you need to provide them credible facts and photos are a big help on this. Photos are worth a thousand words, so if the public see the seriousness of the issue they will be move by it and inspire them to change their attitudes and be more actively involve in it. Through each photos that I took I hope to share it to a larger audience so that it can help bring the necessary change that our society needs. Hence through the learnings that this institute will impart to me, I will give my very best to truthfully told this stories to everyone so that people will be move to act on the issue in hand.
