I studied Marine & Natural History photography at University a couple of years ago. Since I have been getting small amounts of photographic work and getting work published in magazines & newspaper. In October I had a double page spread in the BBC Wildlife Magazine, which was a huge achievement for me. Over the past few years I have mainly been getting film work from the likes of BBC Springwatch and The Wildlife Trust. Although I love filming, my real passion is photography and I'm hoping one day I will be able to travel the world, share my experiences and photos, whilst inspiring and educating people about the natural world and important conservation issues.

I haven’t been on a proper photographic trip abroad, so travel photography is some what new to me but I feel with my photographic capabilities would be let loose and produce some strong images. The mentoring from Jason will expand my photographic style and guide me to the world of travel photography.

This is a great opportunity to not only learn from the best but also have the exposure and platform to go on after the Scholarship in the professional world of travel photography and making the scholarship for-fill its purpose.
