Well we've just got back from a weekend in Nottingham so there! Lovely atmospheric photos - liked the ox pulling the cart - I remember them - and the views from your hotel - £10 a night is pushing the boat out a bit isn't it? - hope you're keeping an eye on the spreadsheet. The £5 option sounds horrible though! We did pay a bit more than that in Nottingham but still had a room with the door to the bathroom coming off its hinges and a wonky loo seat! There were lovely Christmas decorations everywhere ( well got to try and make you jealous somehow) - you could get lost there for at least a week Sarah just in the shops, some in lovely huge old buildings like banks etc. There were loads of skaters on the outdoor ice rink - we only saw 3 people fall over the whole time! - well it's Torvill and Dean land I suppose. There's even a Bolero Square now, outside the National Ice Centre. Anyway, back to you - glad you managed to send this blog before disappearing up into the hills - definitely don't shake the crunchy biscuit bag. Take care, lots of love mum and dad xxxx
