South Africa | Sunday, November 23, 2014 | flickr photos

My name is Miki Gaddes, i'm 18 years old and Im from Sydney, Australia. Im currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/ Fine Arts M/International Relations + Extension Photography MNR: German at UNSW College of Fine Arts. I discovered my interest in photography at 13 through a School elective. Since then my passion has increasingly developed. Ive traveled a lot already, as my Mum works in the travel industry, which means I've had the exposure to some sensational photographic opportunities. I have a particular interest in photographing people and landscapes. Ive completed a 2 year course in Photography at St George TAFE and currently hold a Certificate III in Photographic Process. 2 of my images have been finalists at the Penrith Regional Snapshot Competition. I'm extremely proud of the works i have produced thus far and am grateful for the opportunities I've had to create them. My ultimate goal is to one day work for National Geographic as a Travel Photographer or Photojournalist and I believe that this Peruvian opportunity would enhance my skills in the utmost of ways. Im a fit, outgoing person and extremely eager to develop my ability in the field under the guidance of Jason Edwards.
