Hi Renas,

You can download the podcast from this site (click the orange button at the top of the page that says "Podcast") and the script is here for you to print. As we're an online site, there are no CDs or books available).

Can you tell me how to load the Thai iPod phrasebook with audio on an iPhone? I tried the instructions, but they don't seem to work for an iPhone. I guess it's just for iPod?
Thanks,
Kevin

Installation instructions
1. Connect your iPod to your computer.
2. Select iPod in the iTunes source list and click on the options button.
3. Select 'Enable disk use'.
4. Copy the folder "Thai Phrases" to the Notes folder on your iPod.
5. Drag the folder "Thai_Phrases_mp3" into your itunes library
6. Sync your ipod to transfer the audio phrases to your ipod
7. When the files have copied across, eject your iPod.
8. You can then view your Worldnomads.com phrasebook on your iPod by selecting EXTRAS > NOTES > Thai Phrases

Phrases that are underlines are linked to audio. Click play to hear the word or phrase spoken.

Hi Kevin,
Unfortunately the iPhone & iPod touch do not (yet) support 'enable disk use', so you won't be able to load the text phrases to your iPhone. The language guide mp3 will still work on iPhone/ipod touch. We are looking into building some iPhone applications for the language guides.

I find the application extremely useful. Apart from the words currently in the free downolad for my Iphone, can i download more words and phrases? I am an experienced traveller to Thailand and would like to have more at my fingertips while travelling. I wouldnt mind paying for them. Are anymore available?
Regards, Warren Welsh

Hi Waeewn,

Thanks for your note. We are hoping to release an updated version to the Thai language guide in later 2010 that includes a lot more phrases. It will be called the Thai PLUS language guide and cost $1.99 USD. We are still in the planning phase and will need to do the recordings and App production so it is still some time off.

Cheers
