Relaxing Halloween Weekend.

So, as many of you may already know, Halloween isn´t entirely my thing. I can´t say I exactly appreciate what it stands for, and in Madison it´s an obnoxious, rioting drink fest, which again, isn´t my cup of tea. I saw a lot of drunk drivers on the road this weekend which really infuriated me that someone could be so ignorant and selfish/inconsiderate of not only themselves but everyone else around them.

Ok, enough of that. Since my roommate went home for the weekend, I spent a nice long weekend relaxing with Freckles, baking, watching movies, and hanging out with a few friends. I also discovered one of my favorite blush wines.. mmmmm! I ended up making chocolate chip cookies with dark chocolate and mint chips PLUS fudgy orange brownies with a chocolate chip bottom. AKA, my apartment smelled AMAZING this weekend!

I was also planning on hosting a big spaghetti and meatball dinner (Yes, all Grandmal's recipes!) for a bunch of my friends but those plans changed at the last minute. Hopefully I´ll be able to do that next weekend instead!

I have more I´d like to write but I´ve ignored my studies a bit this weekend so I need to get back to work!
