All in a lifetime's work.

Catching my breath.

This past week has been a whirlwind. I´ve had a mountain of work and exams to make up from being sick. Good news - I survived. Bad news - I still have a hefty chunk of Chinese to go before I´m completely in the clear. I´ve teamed up with some classmates who are willing to tutor me to get me back up to speed so I´m not too worried. Thank God for them! :0)

This weekend was homecoming for UW but I didn´t really partake in anything. Partly because it´s been so cold and partly because I´ve had so much work to do. I did some other fun things instead, though. I found a new, delicious Mexican restaurant and went to see Couples Retreat. I haven´t laughed so hard at a movie in such a long time. It was great! My eyes were still streaming with tears of laughter on the ride home. You definitely have my recommendation to go see it!!

For those of you who know my Swedish family - Lars, Karin, & Co - I got an email from Alexander today saying that he´ll be coming to the US this next school year. Even though he has already been to the midwest, I´m excited to be able to show him around like his family showed me Sweden/Denmark a few years ago. I can´t wait!

That´s all for now - I´de love to hear how you all have been doing! Besos!
