I convinced myself that I was feeling better this weekend and went to Mount Horeb, a small-ish town about a half hour outside of Madison for their Norwegian Heritage Festival. Apparently there´s a fairly large Norwegian population there. This festival had all sorts of art vendors, book sale, quilt sale, bake sale, delicious food, etc. Since it was pretty rainy there weren´t a lot of people walking the streets. Lindsay and I still had fun!
Apparently with the Norwegian heritage comes trolls. There were many large wooden statues of trolls that made for great photo ops :)
This coming weekend I´d love to go to the Monster Truck Rally that´s coming to Madison. I´ve always wanted to go to one just to check it out. We´ll see who I can convince to come with me :) I´d also like to go apple/pumpkin picking + corn maze and haunted house at some point this coming weekend. Hopefully there will be enough time in my weekend to get it all done in one shot!
Badgers beat one of our big rivals this weekend in the twin cities of MN. WOOHOO! 4-0 this year!
I still have over a 100º temp so I doubt I´ll go to class tomorrow. My roommate is in worse shape than me and will probably go to the hospital if she can´t get her temp to go down in the next few hours. Say a prayer that we´re both feeling better asap!!
