All in a lifetime's work.

What a lovely Monday it´s been.

Things have been going pretty fantastic lately. As some of you may already know, work gave me a promotion without actually giving me a promotion (it´s so small there are no promotions currently to be had). Essentially they gave me many supervisory permissions within our operating systems that allow me almost every function as my supervisor, with the exception from accessing other employee´s information of course, so that I can fill my supervisor´s shoes when she is absent from work. It´s pretty exciting. Perhaps this is a good omen for what´s to come when graduation nears? Let´s hope so!

Classes are going well. Animal Science is relatively easy. As long as I show up to class and am half conscious, I´m sure I´ll get an A. Spanish is intense simply because it´s an introductory lit class (don´t ask me why I´m taking it in my 5th year - I don´t really know myself!). It´s completely manageable as long as I keep up with it though. Chinese is definitely kicking it up a notch this semester. Each week I have roughly 20 pages of homework plus two tests and one exam. Surprisingly enough, I´m actually learning the material and not simply regurgitating it upon request. I really enjoyit. All in all, my classes are a nice variety of material and difficulty levels.

Oh, and a special note for Grandmal and Grandpap - I got my curtains up and they look beautiful :0) and they fit perfectly, too!! Thanks!!

Badgers are 3-0 so far and matching up with Michigan State this weekend. Let´s see if they can keep up the winning streak!! (Honestly though, it´s been so painful to watch them since Barry Alvarez stopped being the head coach a few years ago. I am almost afraid to watch this weekend - yikes!!) Ah well, I´ll still go out and support my boys because there´s no pride quite like a Badger´s pride!
