Undoubtedly, its the passion & perseverance to pursue Photography that had me quit from the role of Technology Consultant, after a Masters degree, from a hi-paying corporate job 2 years ago. Travel was imminent in IT but Photography happened during these Travels.
So I decided to become a Photojournalist. Reason: I could see more than a Photographer could, as I “explored” various facets of a place. Human Expressions & People, History & Culture, Lifestyle & Geographies, Artists & Architecture & often-ignored details – a clear-cut photojournalistic or approach.
Also I had the habit of putting thoughts on paper from earlier years-hence became a Writer; to document what I see.
So today, I am an Independent Technology Consultant, Writer & Photojournalist. I write (on travel & technology), contribute images for papers, blogs & magazines and undertake technology-consulting projects.
Power elements of Photography that inspire me include its ability to bring out the unstated, highlight the hidden, document changes, narrate a story without words & capture the Human Element. These drive me to strive to consistently produce better work, each time.
This experience with Jason will be important, as I will learn how to introduce ”geography, people, wildlife or any subject” to the others, thru the medium of photographs, the Nat Geo way. In turn I want to give back, body of work that encapsulates ‘Human Race’ that lives on our planet.
I aim to travel & document people from different countries - their homes, lives, expressions, myths, fears, beliefs, food, & perhaps even their creations like monuments – both good & bad. In short, “Tell A Story!”
I followed my Heart all along. I foster soaring ambitions. I regard National Geographic. I aspire to work on their assignments some day!
