So I've been living in Germany for six months tomorrow and it has been an amazing journey. I started off having never been outside of the United States and now I have been all through Germany and am about to head to France! Everything I have experienced since coming here has been an absolute blessing and now I just found out even more wonderful news from home: My best friend since preschool is getting married in October in Florida! Unfortunately since I am currently living half a world away I will not be able to participate in her wedding as a bridesmaid, so I am trying to at least get home in time to attend the wedding. However, travel between the U.S. and Europe is not exactly inexpensive and I am having a rough time trying to figure out how to afford it. I am a firm believer in "figuring it out," however I have realized since coming here that sometimes that really does mean admitting you need help. I am incredibly blessed to have such amazing opportunities and people in my life and I am thankful for them everyday. I am excited to write all about the wedding when I get back.
