Made it to San Francisco this morning and was a bit glad to get out of LA as didnt really like it too much there!! Too many wierdos!!! So far I really like it here. I managed to get to Alcatraz today which was really good as managed to get there early in the morning (there was a sign saying that there were no bookings until Tuesday) and asking if they had a standby list and a ticket became available for around midday today!!! They give you audio headphones to listen to which gives you a really good insight into what went on there!! San Francisco is very hilly. On the way back I walked down Lombard Street which was really cool. Im staying in a hostel in between Chinatown and North Hill (Little Italy) which is excellent. Will be here until Sunday and then will make my way down to San Diego.
