The Dogs of Ningxia (Part 2)

After 3 weeks in Ningxia, I have come to believe that the dogs here are indeed pets, primarily.  I see people taking their dogs--usually miniatures--for walks, and they appear to be well taken care of.  Still, I wouldn't want to be the family dog when times get tough.  "Smells good, Mom.  What's for dinner?  Hey!  Where's Fung Ku!?"
