I have always been interested in photography all my life but it has only been since the start of this year where I have been able to start exploring into the field of photography. I am currently in my first year of study at university and am studying a design course in which I would like to major in photography. Throughout my first semester of studying I have been producing images that have received consistent marks of distinctions and high distinctions as the lecturers believe I have a good eye for capturing detail. I have been trying my best to improve my skills with the help of teachers at uni by going out each weekend to numerous locations and capturing images.
When I photograph objects, I like to focus on the finer parts of the object as I love to express the details within each element. I enjoy getting up and close to the subject and photographing the natural essence of beauty that has been provided my mother nature; especially water, as I am very fascinated about the details it can produce. Hence, I wish to buy a macro lens to be able to further my love for photography and am more than happy to learn about how I could improve myself.
My future goal is to work in the field of landscape photography and allow myself to explore the world and all its natural beauty. I would love to travel to some third world countries and be able to capture the depth of sincerity and quality of emotions that are expressed through the burden of poverty in the country. If given this opportunity, I will ensure to make the most out of it and work hard to keep producing high quality images.
