I am very passionate about the rain forest and cultures that dwell in or around the jungle. I am fascinated by their knowledge of the medicinal plants and hope that I can work towards capturing their way of life. I work as a survival and bushcraft instructor with a big passion for photography and campaign for the rights of indigenous cultures. I would hope to raise awareness on deforestation through my photography but also inspire by capturing unique cultures and being advised by a professional.
I love being in the jungle and pass on knowledge to the younger generation who I feel (growing up in London) never get to see the great outdoors. The jungle is a special place close to my heart and having the opportunity to go back and train on how I can be the best that I can be would be a dream come true.

When I saw this opportunity something inside me came alive.
Growing up we are frequently asked "what do you want to be when you grow up?"
As a child I would have answered Indiana Jones. He gets to explore, travel and visit new cultures.
Now I am faced with this question again. My answer is "I want to be a Travel Photographer"
Though it's almost like I am telling people I want to be Indiana Jones!
It is a dream job but I hold on to my visions.
Nothing great has ever been accomplished in this world without passion. My passion is travel photography.
You come to learn that certain creative fields are sadly not that easy to obtain and being a travel photographer is not career path that is widely available.
But I stand by the belief that if you positively put your mind to it you can achieve anything.
I remain until this day a creative person inspired by photography, travel, nature, cultures and the natural environment.
I would very much value mentoring and would be a highly committed and focused student.
Being chosen would give me a chance to develop myself to the best of my abilities, learn new skills and hopefully open a door to the world of professional travel photography.
