Right now, I am teaching High School English in Honduras, on the Island of Roatan. I love my job, my kids, and island life. I love taking pictures of my kids and of the island. The pictures I'm uploading are from a trip I took a few years ago when I backpacked through Nicaragua for two weeks. I was in college at the time and on spring break. I love the country and I'm planning on going back for atleast a month over the summer to volunteer with La Esperanza Granada, an organization that works with students and teachers by giving kids field trips and extra help with English. I love taking pictures of people and landscapes. I would like to learn more about photography because I would love to be able to actually capture the beauty. I think I take pretty good pictures, but I often say to myself and others, "this is nothing compared to being there." I have no formal training in photography and these pictures are actually taken on a point and shoot.
