the beauty of Asia

I'm 29 soon to be 30. Not long after my last birthday my long term partner and I ploughed all our savings into a once in a lifetime trip around the world. The camera which I have taken these photos on was a leaving gift from my amazing work colleagues. So with every snap I think of how they have helped me capture all those unforgettable memories. These photos were taken across South East Asia including Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. I was constantly awestruck by the places, culture and people we encountered and think these pictures best encapsulate that feeling. I have a sensible job back home managing projects for a research funding organisation. I find this both challenging and interesting. However I also find ways to channel my creative side through crafts, sewing, crochet and dancing. I have had wonderful opportunities to take great photos but I am keenly aware that with more knowledge of photography I could take not just great but amazing photos.
