That made me obviously learn the World with different eyes and different senses. From a very young age, I became fascinated by the beauty of diversity. That feeling pushed me into photography. It helped me to preserve the memory of a place, a situation and, at the same time, supported the stories I wanted to share with friends and family. Later on I became a medical doctor and embraced the humanitarian sector. Then, being isolated in remote areas of the planet, I learnt the power of photography. Not only an image can be used as an instrument to document human rights' abuse but also as tool of advocacy and, therefore, a way of protecting populations/environment and preventing further offense. Winning this scholarship will provide me technical skills I have never explored before and teach me to interact and dig into the setting from a different perspective. Better skills lead to better outcomes.
