Life Around The Lake

I am a traveler, writer and the mother with curious girl inside of me who always exploring the world with open eyes. The way I can express myself the best is through the photography. As years going by my passion for photography does not fade.
Born and raised in Croatia I spend most of my childhood on a small farm. When I started to travel I always wanted to share my point of view with others with goal to teach them something and to show different habits and other people lives.
Through process of taking pictures I am achieving and seeking further from defined boundaries. Always exploring peoples behaviours, relations and cultural identities which leads me to new knowledge.
Traveling and expressing myself through photography gave me a chance to learn new things, to grow spiritually, to stay enthusiastic in every day situation.
I believe the scholarship from National Geographic and chance to learn from Jason Edwards would be an excellent opportunity to develop myself as a photographer and as a person.
A life behind the lens helped me develop social skills and adapt to new environments and new situations easily. I accept all challenges with a goal to learn and enrich new knowledge.

Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a traveler who sees the world with open eyes. Man's progress, growth, change and breakthrough in the world that has not yet been explored starts with a camera in one hand and a travel bag in another. I started to express myself at the moment I discover photography. Through photography I’m trying to represent people, culture, nature and life around me.
Being the first child in the family and having three younger brothers and a sister I started to be interested in photography when I was a little girl.
Born and raised in Croatia I spend most of my childhood on a small farm. When I started to travel I always wanted to share my point of view with others.

Sincerely,
Inia
