My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm Jessica, I live in the western suburbs of Sydney. I have been working in the fashion industry for the last 13 years of my life, I thought this was my passion for life until 2010 when i took a 3 month trip through Africa and the Middle East I discovered my love for travel and photography from the minute i got off the plane and started exploring.
I have never taken a photography course but instead I got my inspiration from National Geographic photos, these photos alone gave me the experience and taught me how to capture a moment that will last forever.
It has always been a dream of mine to travel the world which I have been lucky to experience over the last 6 years, photography to me is something I live and find happiness through in times of doubt or sadness I always look at my photos which bring joy and amazing memories.
I believe I should be chosen for the scholarship because I'm dedicated to producing beautiful images to inspire the world and to make a difference.
